After academic postgraduate training in public health in Scotland and working as an acute hospital physician in Nottingham England for a few years, I realised that my passion was in the personalized care family medicine afforded so I undertook and completed my family medicine training in Nottinghamshire, England. I have interests in the full scope of primary care including child and adolescent health, diabetes, COPD, mental health as well as provision of care in retirement homes. My hobbies include creative writing, the real football⁠—I am an avid fan of Liverpool Football Club⁠—and spending time with my 3 girls (my wife and daughters).
